Applications are invited for the above position based in the Engineering department at the Secondary Production plant of a major manufacturing plant in Port Elizabeth.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS WILL INCLUDE:
• Achieve production requirements against set targets
• Ensure achievement of product quality standards
• Maintain machinery and equipment to agreed performance levels
• Executing effective Safety / housekeeping
• Innovative and proactive in supporting team and segment goals
• Stand-in duties
• Operating / shutting down and changing over machines and equipment to prescribed quality standards.
The successful candidate must have the following experience / skills:-
• 3-5 years proven post-trade test experience in and maintenance environment.
• Minimum of 3 years high speed packaging experience.
• Self motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure in a production environment.
• Be a team player and innovator.
• Must be able to meet deadlines.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Be prepared to work overtime / shifts / and or extended hours.
Qualification required:
• Mechanical / Electrical NTC 3 or equivalent qualification plus a fitter trade test.
• Millwright Qualification would be an added advantage in the Production environment
